lta-Maria is a contemporary artist currently based in Helsinki, Finland. Her vibrant paintings are inspired by feelings, emotions, relationships and dark nights of the soul. Her creative process is based on her intuition without no plan or idea, just a trusting feeling, that the process will lead where it's supposed to.

 

Ilta-Maria was born in Finland to artist parents. She was a creative child, dancing, singing, painting and drawing. During her teenage years she suffered from depression, leading her to give up on creativity. Later on, she returned back to it studying music and arts. In the year 2014 she graduated as a visual artist and since then she has had exhibitions for her art in Finland and Greece. She has also created some digital art and a merchandise line with her visual designs on it.
